Silk Healing is a holistic therapy and training practice in Cornwall, founded by Amelia Young—an educator and therapist with over 20 years of experience. Specialising in advanced facial massage, holistic bodywork and organic skincare treatments, the practice balances restorative hands-on therapies with professional training courses.
While Amelia was already actively promoting her growing training offer, she wanted to expand her reach further. Much like many of the founders I work with, Amelia's priority is her hands-on work with clients and students. She was looking for a dedicated partner to take website management and SEO off her shoulders so she could direct her energy back into her practice.
An initial technical audit revealed several opportunities to strengthen the website's foundation and performance. Key focus areas included updating and refining meta descriptions and tags, optimising title tags and URLs, and resolving indexing issues to ensure the right pages were visible to search engines. Additionally, we identified the need to add essential legal compliance items, such as privacy and cookie policies, while updating the overall layout to better reflect Amelia's calm, professional ethos.
My approach
